I almost started sympathizing with Starbury too till my senses kicked in. They're not playing him because he's a cancer and is always trying to get his. And every time I hear Marbury's name, I think of his battles when Kidd would be in town and Marbury would say that he's the best poing guard in the league (*puke*), and proceed to outscore Kidd (which he would), but would lose the game for the Knicks while J-Kidd just played his game and led the Nets to a win.

Marbury is immature. It's sad because you're right, he is a very explosive player. I loved that intervew on courtside when the Knicks were playing in LA and Marbury said this is all of the Knicks' making, that he nothint for it to come to this. You know when a team would rather pay you to stay the hell away from them that people must really loathe something about you :p

nice article, but I think you're sympathizing with marbury too much. D'Antoni wanted to play him and he refused. Q-Rich doesnt consider him a teammate. The knicks are actually playing better now with marbury on the bench and that aint no coincidence.

Remember the nets/phoenix trade with kidd for marbury. The nets instantly became contenders when marbury left. What about when marbury left phoenix and nash came in? Exact same result. Not playing Marbury is the smartest move they can make right now. They could have done one better though, and never signed/traded for marbury in the first place.
